Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

The woman that runs this company, Pinnacle Pathways, Doris Duey Sanders, advertises her company as one that treats their clients with "Respect and Dignity".

This is a JOKE.  If you are so unfortunate as to be on probation for DUI, or are looking for a chemical treatment agency, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

This woman was abusive, bullying, UNETHICAL, and she has now STOLEN money from me.

She did not accept my insurance, so I had to pay out of pocket and then bill insurance myself for reimbursment.  They sent me a letter stating I owed them $1,188.39.  I paid them $654.99 out of pocket, owing a balance of $533.40 at the time I found out she (Duey Sanders) cashed my insurance checks.

I had submitted a claim to my insurance for all of the dates that needed to be billed and reimbursed to me.  They cut two checks: one for $892.00 and one for $995.65, for a total of $1,887.39.

They have therefore kept (stolen) $1,232.66 of MY MONEY!

The only reason the insurance checks were sent to them was that I had checked and signed the WRONG BOX ON THE CLAIM FORM!  Otherwise, the checks would have been sent to me.

When my insurance agency contacted Duey Sanders, she LIED and stated the money belonged to them!  Since I checked the wrong box on the claim form, my insurance cannot do anything for me, as the checks have already been cashed.

I have attempted to make contact with Duey Sanders by phone and registered mail.  I have not received a response.

Again, they do not accept or bill my insurance.  They knew I had paid them out of pocket.  They knew I had to be reimbursed by my insurance.  Yet they cashed and kept this insurance money that does not belong to them and REFUSE to discuss the situation with me.

I have been RIPPED OFF!  In addition, during my time with her, she bullied me, threatened me, violated HIPPA rules and regulations by calling and discussing personal statements by me made in appointments with my husband, and now she has taken money from me that does not belong to her.

She has a reputation in this small town.  Apparently I am not the first client she has screwed over financially.

Just because I signed the wrong box on my claim form to my insurance company, it does not give her the RIGHT to keep money that does not belong to her.  I have been warned by another agency that if I take Duey Sanders to small claims court, she will fight dirty and slander me in a public forum.

I cannot believe $1200 is really worth this to her.  She cannot admit to her mistake, or will not admit to her mistake.

I ONLY WANT WHAT BELONGS TO ME RETURNED TO ME.  I want to be treated fairly, not MIS-treated simply because I was in the position to have to seek treatement with her agency.

She has LIED, bullied, and manipulated me to the point of a near breakdown.  And now this.  I deserve to have this money returned from me that she has stolen.

These opinions are my version of the events.  While there is a financial matter that needs to be resolved, this website will not remove anything once it is posted.

I noticed in her initial response to my complaint, she published my full name for all to see on the internet.  I believe this is a HIPPA violation.  Good thing I did a 'print-screen'.  I am excercising my right to free speech, and in this case, excercising my right to file a complaint as I was treated poorly. Hopefully this will not happen to anyone else.

I have noticed this company has stated I "slandered" her and her company.  It is not slander if the facts back up the statements.  Where it concerns the money, I have all the cancelled checks, receipts, and the original contract.  Her company was overpaid, as both I and my insurance paid her.  Even if I had fullfilled the entire contract, she has still been overpaid by over $800 dollars.
