To whom it may concern,
I think that it speaks volumes when Alan Zahumensky, the owner of Pinnacle Paving and Sealing, blames the customer!
In Alan Zahumensky's rebuttal, he conveniently fails to mention that I repaired 60 feet of cracks on my 14 month old driveway. He knew this when he posted his rebuttal.
In Alan Zahumensky's rebuttal, he conveniently fails to mention that I already sealed the driveway. In our conversation, he was informed of the fact that I had made the repairs myself, that his help was not wanted or needed.
In Alan Zahumensky's rebuttal, he conveniently fails to mention that in our conversation he was informed, that when my friend started parking his car on my driveway, cracks began forming within 3 weeks.
Imagine for a moment, my reaction to seeing cracks form because a car was parked on my driveway.
There are cracks in the area underneath where I park my pickup. There are cracks in the area underneath where my wife parks and there are cracks in the area where my friend parked his car when we started sharing rides to work. My brand new driveway, can't even handle having a vehicle parked on it without cracking. My wife and I can't even park our motorcycles on driveway without the fear of the kickstands punching through this very flimsy and brittle driveway. The driveway is so bad that we had to make motorcycle kickstand platforms.
Sixty feet of cracks and growing!
Why would I allow his company on my property? So his company could leave a huge mess in my garage again? So that his company could cause even more damage on the side of my house again? So that his company can do repairs that detract from the driveways appearance again? So that his company's heavy equipment cause more cracks on my driveway?
In Alan Zahumensky's rebuttal, he conveniently fails to mention that his company was informed in writing that his company's salespeople and employees were not welcomed on my property. He ignores the original complaint and chooses to blame the customer.
Sixty feet of cracks and growing!
When Mr Gephart came out the day after the driveway was installed, I showed him the huge mess in the garage, I showed him the damage on the side of the house. I even pointed out where a crack was forming. He told me that the area I was pointing at gave them a lot of trouble, that it was a soft spot... Well that soft spot developed into a 15' crack and is where I park my pickup.
Really, what kind of repairs could Alan Zahumensky and Pinnacle Paving and Sealing possibly do on my driveway?
I don't have any confidence in the quality, materials or workmanship of this driveway and I have very little respect for Pinnacle Paving & Sealing. There is no way that I would allow that company on my property again!
Sixty feet of cracks and growing!
What a waste of time and money!
Alan

I am responding to the report filed by Mr. Harold Fix of 1074 Cedar Drive Milford Ohio 45150. My name is Alan Zahumensky, and I am the owner of Pinnacle Paving and Sealing. I was sadden to hear Mr. Fix's report regarding his driveway that my company installed.
I had no idea that any problem existed as a matter of fact I contacted Mr. Fix today, September 13, 2011 and identified myself to him. He was very rude and hung up on me. I waited a couple extra minutes and called him back and offered to repair the cracks on his driveway and sealcoat the entire driveway at no cost to him. He refused my offer.
I tried to explain to him that I was unaware of any problem and that I thought it would be fair that he give me the opportunity to correct the situation. He wanted nothing to do with that, and again hung up on me. I have found that, after 16 years in the business, that some people are just hard to please. He claims he made several attempts to contact our company. Yet, when I contacted him he refused to speak to me regarding the matter. My offer stands to repair the cracks and sealcoat the entire driveway.
