Pizza Hut Customer Service is utterly ATTROCIOUS!!
I placed an order for delivery from my local Pizza Hut restaurant this evening. In addition to the pizza I requested an order of breadsticks to be sent. When the order arrived I opened everything and found that they sent hot wings instead of breadsticks... thinking it was no big deal and since Pizza Hut is less than a mile from my home, I called them back to tell them they sent the wrong item and was told by the clerk that answered the phone that "we aren't going to deliver just one order of breadsticks, we'll note your address and the next time you order we'll give you a credit"... at this point, being quite vexxed, I explained that I have a four year old here who will only eat breadsticks... she then told me to "just give him the wings, he might like them"... now, it is my experience that it is not wise to give a four year old HOT WINGS... besides the fact that her response was uncalled for, so I asked for a manager to be put on the phone... After a 5 minute wait, a young woman came to the phone and stated she was "the manager"... I retold the story and was told by this rude person, "I don't work in the kitchen, I can't be held responsible for what they send"... at this point, I was exasperated... I asked for her name and she refused... I kept asking, she finally gave me a name which I think was phony. Now, mind you... all the while this is happening, my pizza is getting cold and I have a four year old throwing a fit for breadsticks... finally this socalled manager verified my address and said she would send the breadsticks. I sat and waited and they never came. My four year old cried himself to sleep... so much for a family nite together, thanks to Pizza Hut. I have the number for the main office and plan on calling on Monday... just wanted to vent some steam here.

How can you eat that crap Pizza Hut calls pizza? There must be some other place in town that makes good pizzas?

Hi, I don't know why, but the thing that really caught my attention in this report is that you have a 4 year old child that won't eat anything but breadsticks? Couldn't you scrape the sauce off the pizza? What did the child finally end up eating for dinner? I don't mean to be offensive, just curious.

I am an ex-employee of Wentzville, Mo Pizza Hut. Although procedures can be different from store to store, it is Pizza Hut's job to redeliver any and all mistakes. There is a minimum order of $10 to have a delivery made, but this has nothing to do with the mistakes made by Pizza Hut. I have had to retake numerous deliveries cause of mistakes on Pizza Hut's behalf, including just a 2-liter or order of breadsticks. I have also made my own mistakes, such as not checking my order, and had to redeliver for my own faults. This is something that should definitely be reported to a manager that has more say so than the one you talked to. The store that I worked at was also very disfuctional. I am currently talking to Pizza Hut to try to resolve an issue without having to sue them. That will be reported in my own section though. Anyway, the rudeness that you were given is uncalled for. If you don't get satisfaction from Pizza Hut, the best thing to do is call the better business beauro(SP?). I truely hope things work out for you.
