Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
This place is filthy and its not worth the $25. They probably wont pay anyway. 1) The 30 person staff looks like a gang of ignorant unsupervised high school dropouts. 2) They spent most of their time talking on their cell phones. 3) I witnessed them holding up their phones and laughingly taking pictures of donors. 4) There is a privacy risk because I could hear staff discussing how most of the donors files were misplaced or lost. 5) Its overcrowded and I had to wait longer than the 2 hours they told me it would take to donate. 6) It is filthy outside and inside of clinic. The building looks abandoned. The doors and windows are boarded up and trash is everywhere. 7) Do to staff neglect there is a possibility that donors can get infection from unclean needles 8) After waiting more than 5 hours to donate I was told I couldnt because I hadnt drunk enough water that day. First time donators get $25 and it is not worth the time or effort because they probably wont pay you and there is a large risk of getting an infection from contaminated needles. My main concern about this place is that the staff is putting peoples lives at risk because they are not following simple precautions to prevent needle contamination. Part of the donation process consists of a staff member sticking the donors finger with a needle to test their protein and iron levels. The staff member opened the plastic that the needle was in and then began to hit the needle against the filthy counter in an effort to get the needle out of the plastic bag. After sticking my finger with the contaminated needle she took a small narrow tub and began to hit that against the counter to get the tub out of its plastic bag. Then she took the contaminated tub and pressed it against the open puncture on my finger to draw blood. Image a person opening a pack of cigarettes and to get the cigarette out of the pack they hit it against a table. She was using that same technique with the needle and tub to draw blood out of my finger. After they made me urinate in a cup I was told I couldnt donate because I didnt drink enough water that day. This place is a filthy, unhealthy, dangerous and waste of time. They should be closed by health inspector.
