As of April 5 2027 we were repeatedly told we owed more to pods than we new we did. Kira hagerman of the collections insisted no matter how I asked to prove what we owed extra, that she could not provide with a month by month balance. We were told all sorts of things in a 30 min conversation from we only paid 75 percent of what we owed , and that we were 6 months behind after paying 1100 dollars in a four week period. She said we owed 914 dollars still. After getting of the phone we found a certified letter from pods itself that proved we were right and only owed 400 dollars. We were appalled at being overcharged even after asking for constant documentation which we were denied unlawfully . We had complained for over a year about being overcharged and were told different balances that increased without documentation of proof.

If we would have paid the 914 as we were told or our stuff would go to auction, we would have been scammed / overpaid by 500 dollars. It was only through our due diligence that we proved pods was over charging us. They blamed it on a new AX accounting program that does not credit customers for there payments as told to us by two employees at pods customer service. So how many people have been effected by these accounting errors ? Are we to believe that over a year and hundreds of dollars we were the only one? Pods is taking no responsibility for the overcharging and has not even called us back since we proved them wrong. This same accounting/ collections department now has my account information and takes money as they feel.

The auction fee and balance was 1078 and it was paid in full. Kira stated that we only paid 75 percent of that 1078. The remaining two months come to 387 for feb and march. Pretty simple to understand Yes if you add like you did the next two months after then it's 73 percent of total balance . We were told we owe towards our auction fee and she clearly stated this on record that we still owed because they struck a deal and let us pay a portion of 1078 which is not true. I don't know how you don't understand simple math. Yeah it's that old fashioned addition that's new... You are obviously paid by pods to discredit people that they have overcharged.. Last is that Kira wanted 2,001 dollars for a 1466 balance Can you follow this We paid 1078 and still owed ... for mar and feb at 387 for two months. That's 1480 total not 2001.00 They were wrong ...period I don't have to prove it to you, just the Florida state district attorney

All you have shown is a 3 month old invoice and some post it notes.

Now, am I asking you to show everything...NO. Does it matter...No. Do I care...NO.  As for the typicical response when you have nothing else to defend your argument with...No on that as well, I do not work for them.

I am just point out what you have posted. Where based on what you have posted you admit you owe $387 as of April 5th(?).  Even in your update you say your top balance was $1466 and you have admited to only paying them $1078. That's actually only about 73%.

1078/1466 * 100 = 73.53%

If you want to play "games" and say that you paid 100% your balance as of January you can, but that is exactly what it is. Games. If you are trying to claim some other number or percentage you have thrown enough numbers around that you could probably claim you have paid everywhere from 10% to 500% of your balance.  I guess I am just not as bright as you to figure a way out of paying bills you are legally responsible for and then claming a Ripoff when a company holds you too it.

By the way this has nothing to do with the $900 you claim they say you owe.  While with your wonderful accounting I somehow doubt that it is a case that they didn't provide you with the documentation.  It is probably a case where you don't understand it(or perhaps do and just don't agree with it).  But again...why haven't you gone online to their site and pulled your account history yourself and matched it with your bank statements?

Good luck....

The invoice with two months added is 1466. We paid 885 and 194.39. Leaving a balance of 387.39 Kira was demanding 914 more not 387.39 as owed, And could not and refused documentation for the extra 500 dollars. She made up multiple things that were not true . Our entire balance was 1078 and we paid that, so no we didn't pay 75 percent of the auction , we paid it in full. If you are going to respond to defend pods at least learn to do simple math. You must work for them as they cannot do simple math as well

Even though you claim you have a "Certified Letter" saying you only owe $400, you show us a 3 month old invoice that shows you were delinquent and owed $1000 with some Post-It Note that says you paid them $885 and $194.39 in March and April. Leaving and Admitted balance of $387 that we can only figure is your own writing. With that old invoice we wonder just how old was that Certified Letter is that you have.

But even if we take EVERYTHING you posted in that picture as fact. With what it appears your monthly bill being $194 you are still close to 2 that is TWO Months behind in your storage bill,

It also shows that since your 885 payment wasn't made until March that in fact before that payment you were close to if not over 6 months delinquent. Your remaining balance does also show that you have paid only about 75% of what you owe from your top balance in your writing of about $1400. So the "all sorts of things" you were told appear to be correct.

Where in most states it would be legal for them to auction off your items with you being even just a couple of months delinquent.

Now you state that they couldn't provide you with a statement. So why don't you go online? You obviously have Internet Access. Match up your bank statements with their payments to see if everyone is accounted for. If there is a missing payment it should be very easy to see and have them track down why the payment is gone. Of course again even if you are right you still are subject to auction until you pay what ever balance you owe.
