Poetry.com Poetry.com Is A Ripoff
I wish I would have read this before POETRY.COM ripped me off.
I too write poetry, And also got a letter from POETRY.COM telling me that my work was chosen to be put into a book.
And asking me to purchase the book. I didnt want it, But my girlfriend tried to do a good thing, And sent them the $100.00 that they asked for.
This was in the fall of 2002. They said we would get the book in the spring of 2003. Well, Now it's Winter 2003. No book, And when we try to call to find out what happened they give me the run around for about an hour before I finally give up. And since we sent the money. They have informed me that I can buy an audio CD with my poem being read on it by a professional for only $45.00, And they want me to send another poem ......
