On March 26, 2017, I purchased a beauty creme produt that had been presented on Shark Tank.  I did not buy directly from those on Shark Tank, but I did buy from the person's making the pitch on Shark Tank, or so, I thought.  To be honest, I don't know whose running the show. The advertisement read, pay $4.98 for shipping and receive your free bottle of Aviqua, free being the key word. I had seen several ads on the internet and what the product could do for me, so I buy it.  It's being pitched as, receive your free beauty treatment for the price of shipping only.  Nothing was said about, if I didn't like the product I had only 14 days to return it, or be charged for the full amount of $98.11, for the free product of beauty creme.  I used the product about three times, and my first thought was how pretty the packaging is, and oh my gosh, I can hardly wait to see the results.  

Well, I didn't have any results. Okay I said to myself, it only cost me my time and $4.98, plus, another $1.98, not sure what that charge was for, but okay.  And so, I put the beauty creme Aviqua on the shelf and there it stays.  I'm looking at my bank statement and there is a debit for $98.11 by this company.  I called and said what's going on?  The agent, Jasmine, is pleasant enough but I already know I'm not going to get anywhere with her, so I ask for a supervisor.   She passes the call over to Deyaunt, floor supervisor.  He tells me there is nothing he can do.  He also tells me, that I didn't call before the 14 day, TRIAL, was over, therefore, my account was debited $98.11 for the product I received that was pitched as a free product, just pay shipping.  Hmm I said Deyaunt, I don't care for the product, I don't want the product, what can you do for me?  He said well, I can refund you up to 15%.  I said, 15%, why can't I get a full refund and I'll return the product?  His answer, that's how it works!  I asked to speak to his supervisor and he tells, me there was no one else above him where he is working.  I asked if there is a number I can call, he said no, but I have an    e-mail address you can use and it goes right to corporate and they are great about getting back with people.  I said okay, give me the 15% refund, which came to $34.34, and I will take this to the next level, through e-mail. I couldn't reach anyone at the e-mail address he gave me because it's no good.  I called the number back and I told the agent, Corea, what was going on and she tells me, she has a phone number that will get me to the corporate office. I thought that odd, because the supervisor Deyaunt, said all he had was an e-mail address.  I call the number Corea gave me and it's just another number back to the call center I began with.

The product being pitched does not do what they claim it does. There are millions of consumers buying this product who I am sure are running into the very problem I present to you now.  In the past I would have written this experience off to bad judgement.  No more, I am going to seek out an attorney who hopefully will take this case and file a class action suit against the people who have orchestrated this scam.  How many people do you think gave there $4.98, and $1.98 for a free product, shipping cost only, only to be charged for the product they have said was free? How many haven't realized they have been charged the $98.11, until they find they will have a recurring charge because they have now become a part of the elite scam program? To stop the charges you have to opt out of the montly club you didn't know you joined. These people are making millions of dollars and it's at our expense.  

I'm sure they are hoping that no one will do anything and what a bunch of suckers we must be.  The fat cats sit back, pay minimum wage to people working the call center, only to hear us complain about something they can do nothing about!  I hope you will join me in trying to expose these people for the wrong and ugly they are doing!
