We ordered a case of Diamond round toothpicks from Polsteins on June 24. 2005. I selected overnight shipping. The web site says that the product usually ships in 5-7 days.

Over three weeks later, our product had not arrived. I phoned the customer service line around July 18 and got an emai reply the next day apologizing and stating that the toothpicks would be sent out at the end of the week.

They were on order from the manufacturer, and I was told " We just want you to know that we don't control when we receive items because it is when the manufacturer sends them that we send them." As this delay was unusually long, Polsetin's should have contacted me, not the other way around.

I asked if I was still going to be charged for the fastest shipping as the need was no longer urgent. I was given the option to go UPS 3-Day, which I agrred to. The order arrived on July 26th, more than a month after I placed it.

The contents of the order were a different brand and the wrong shape, even though the invoice relfects the brand and shape I ordered. We use these picks in a specific dental instrument, and Diamond rounds are not easy to find here.

So now, we have 6,000 toothpicks that don't fit into the instrument we use! In addition I was charged the FULL AMOUNT for overnight shipping, even though the package clearly states it was sent 3 day.

I sent an email asking how I should process the return. They have not responded to my email.
