We had a pool installed which we thought we would be able to use for the next 20 years. After the permit was granted it took over 30 days before anyone showed up to start the project.

After they showed up it was another 3-weeks before anyone showed up again. When they did show up they left their cigarette butts and empty water bottles all across the lawn, etc. trash in the backyard which we had to pick up. We left a trash bag tied to the fence, which they never used. On a Saturday which they showed up on very seldom, they used the backyard as a urinal instead of going into 1 of the empty lots that are adjacent or across the street from us or asking if they could use our bathroom. After that the form was poured and then we would see them every 3 or 4 days. There was always trash inside of the pool liner that they said they would clean up, which they never did. It rained multiple times, to which mosquito’s and larva was in the pool, which hatched. The backyard was swarming with the mosquitos.

Shortly after that I found over 500 pounds of cement buried under the sand in the corner of my fence. They denied that it was theirs and that it was probably from the people who built our house. After that they took away the sand fill from the pool hole. We asked them to leave it, so we could use it for yard purposes. They indicated that after the pool was completed they would give us a load of good dirt just for that purpose. I have called multiple times to have some delivered, which was promised on the contract signing. Also, the sod replacement was not complete, due to the complete trash removal was not done.

The pool looked great for two months. On one of the service tech’s visits, Scott told me that they don’t program the variable pump. It took 30 days to receive the owner manuals on our equipment. The sales lady told us that, that was part of our package. Then we started having water loss. We called in weekly and no response. They sent a tech out multiple times and he found no problems. After complaining multiple times, for six months, the receptionist that took our calls informed us that we would have to pay to have a leak repair, because the tech said that there was no problem. We have proof by way of our water bills which have increased since last year. It is not recommended that we allow the water level to drop below the skimmer line, so we fill it. As we have talked over the phone, it was implied that the leak was our fault. Their company hired a pool leak detection company to come out to our house and do testing. They found an easy, common leak that any pool professional would find, and it taken six months without conclusion. We had glass tile installed with the package. It has separated and glass pieces have fragmented into the pool and I have damaged my fingers by inspecting the area’s that were an unusual coloration. I have never seen glass separate like that.

Every time someone has come to our house we have never received any paperwork or documentation regarding any service visits or instructions regarding the equipment. Every time that I call, the receptionist tells me that she will let the owner know.

I have finally spoken with the owner after these six months, on the phone and he said that he was going to come to our house and inspect the pool. He never showed up or left a message.
