I have had 2 issues with Popeyes in Louisiana and still to this day almost 2 years later none were resolved.
Issue 1- David Drive and Vets in Metairie in June 2009. They messed up an order and were very rude. I made several calls to the customer help line and several e-mails about the issue. During the later calls I just stated I wanted a call back from a DM or higher to discuss the problem. Each time I called I they saw how many times I had called in and assured me I would be contacted back. Never ever got a call back.
Issue 2- Judge Perez Location in Chalmette, LA. Store forgot Cole Slaw. I called the store to speak to the manager and the manager pretended they could not hear me on the phone. As above I have called and E-mailed customer service wanting a call back from a DM or above. Still no callback and this was a week or so ago.
If anyone from Popeyes is reading this please answer me one question. WHY IN THE HELL CAN'T YOU DO A CALLBACK TO A CUSTOMER WITH AN ISSUE? THAT"S ALL I WANT.
I am never eating there again that's for sure until I get a call back.
Quesitons?

I worked for a Popeyes for a total of 4 years and from what i can tell you is that Most of the store managers of popeyes hates to deal with customer complaints. As an ex assistant Manager, I tried to be equal, but i also didnt hesistate to piss of some customers when i felt like it, what can i say, it was fun to do so. Then you got the customers who come in and complain so d**n much and say that this is the last they are coming back but are gluttons for punishment and show up on the same day the following week. Everyone in our store was underpaid for the quality and quantity of work we ar expected to do. And let alone that most of the employees have to deal with crack head assistant managers then deal with customers s****.. Even the franchise owner has said to us before, do what you have to do, just get the customers their food and get them out as fast as possible. More buisness = more money. But i was one of them managers that if i felt you werent being pissy with me and were actually being sincere, id hook you up with extra things to compensate you, im also aware that the corporate complain numbers dont do anything to help at all, I laugh at how many people i gave that number to after arguing with them for 15 minutes before i kicked them out of the store ( which we have all right to do if we feel you are being unreasonable), I also had the cops called on me atleast 10 times because a customer decides to eat all his food and bring it back demanding money back because he didnt like his food! HAHAHAHA i dont think so. And yes i understand the whole statement of " well, if you dont like that job, why are you working there? " to clear this up, this was the only job that i was able to get at the time, and secondly, i kept it cuz i was allowed to do whatever i basically wanted to, even when i had the worst days of all, i could take it out on the customers and nothing would happen because the popeyes systems allows for that kind of explotation! Have a good day and enjoy your cold 2 day old chicken!
