I am very disappointed in the rate I paid for weekly parking at the Sea-Tac Airport Terminal. As I drove in there is an illuminated sign board across the road that states weekly parking for $130 "no hidden fees"; I parked my vehicle in the structure for just less than 7 days and when I presented my ticket to the cashier the total was $245. I asked about the $130 weekly rate and she went on to tell me: "well that's because you parked on level four"; I replied what difference does it make? I was in your structure for a week and it is states "no hidden fees", without further argument the $245 was paid. Now remains the issue of $115 overpaid; when I returned to the airport to pickup an inbound passenger I decided to look how one would know level four was the expensive level, as I approached the entrance there are four lanes, three state "general parking" and one "terminal direct parking" with a red colored bubble advertising "quickest access", while deciding which lane to use, my thoughts were: I need..."terminal direct" because I am going directly to the terminal and I want the "quickest access". Low and behold that was the magical level four yielding the "hidden fee" of $115 OVER the advertised $130 rate. The Port went out of their way to put a bubble stating "quickest access" yet neglected to share the fact there is a hidden fee for using that lane. I do not doubt for a moment that the Port has published rates stated someplace; but when a sign a big a three traffic lanes states "$130 Weekly Rate and no hidden fees" why would any person question what the cost would be? What would the point be to research any further, the rate is stated so that motorists driving can read the published and reassuring sign "no hidden fees"? I requested the Port of Seattle to contact me via email so that I can provide them a copy of my parking receipt and be refunded the $115 in "hidden fees" paid during my last visit to SeaTac Airport.
