Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I decided to start an online store for my retail office supply and remanufactured toner business. Gary is the one I always had to work with. At first things seemed great, Gary promised to offer a bunch of features and claimed his platform could do all kinds of things, and it was cost effective.

Then we launched the site. First, it took him forever to get all the products on the site. Then, the site would not function properly, and he would get angry when I would contact him to ask them to fix the problems.

After about nine months of paying fora site that was not fully functional, I decided to cancel the service. I prepaid every month, so he owed me a credit. Gary promised he would get the credit issued. After several weeks, I saw no credit and contacted Gary. He said they would get it reissued. Several weeks later, I still didn't recieve a credit. I have been continually contacting Gary for my credit for nearly a year now, and he still has NOT issued the credit, always having some sort of excuse why I still haven't received it.

DO NOT buy from this company. The product and/or service does NOT work as described, and they do NOT live up to their own words. It's a ripp off. Avoid Gary Katz and Power Ecommerce.

What the OP describes is not even the worst of it.  Gary has been known to steal data base info with some very sensitive contact/ private information via the abuse of his admin powers.  Once he steals it, he will try to sell said information for profit.  As a holder of sensitive private user login information, this is highly unethical and perhaps even borderline illegal.  This practice has also been noted in the following review:

If they refused to issue the credit because I owed them moeny, this is the first I've heard about it. As for their "records", anyone can produce and make "records" to show anything. I was promised a credit many times and never recieved it, and the product never worked properly. The sales tax option on the commerce site didnt' work right for the first six months. I thought I had it setup wrong. After calling them, I was told it was a programing issue on their end. It took them months to fix the problem.,,,,  They did owe me a credit for the last month, and I was promised a credit. I have emails from Gary to prove it. I NEVER recieved that credit. Now they write a rebuttal and lie about it to try to make themselves look better. This company has no morals, and they cheat their clients. You have been warned, do not do business with them.

This customer could not manage their data and became very frustrated with the system. At the time they canceled their account the credit card on file bounced. We show that they actaully owed us money. We will be happy to show a full accounting report to prove this is the case.
