I used to work for this company and any complaint prior to today, 04/29/09, is a completely accurate description of what would happen DAY IN AND DAY OUT (thus I had to quit because I could no longer be associated with the ignorance taking place there) For the ones who said the employees there were stupid, incomptent, remedial, etc. I agree to a point. I worked in the call center, I did not have anything to do with the "professional office" aspect of the company, nor did I have anything to do with billing or where the prescriptions were physically filled, I just took the orders over the phone, the "customer service rep"...i know, im the bad guy...or was

I, myself, and a FEW other employees there took the job seriously. Management is a total and complete joke. It appeared that the only people who were getting promoted in the call center were getting extremely comfortable with the (FORMER, thank God) call center manager. They are nothing more than a high school clique. Once they were promoted to "team lead" or "acting team lead" they did not sit and stay on the phones all day taking calls, it is then and there when they forgot we were dealing with customers who depended on the medications we were sending them to sustain a decent quality of life. Then, just like highschool, everyone else was quick to try and jump on the bandwagon, trying to fit in, treating the customers like they came second to the socialization with their coworkers. Sometimes I tried to figure out how some of the people there were even hired in the first place.

This job was so stressful because you try to imagine if it were YOUR loved one who was on the other line, desperate to get their meds, that is what always gave me the extra motivation to get orders out. I had to leave because, due to the lack of supervisors taking responsibility, it was impossible to get every order out. You would think we do this ALL DAY, EVERYDAY, WHY IS IT SO DIFFICULT??? But the management made it that way. I would try to sneak orders out, sending the requests down to the pharmacists and pharm techs, but its like they were against us, sending it back because no manager signed off on the "past deadline order". They were too lazy to want to fill one more order, instead they wanted to go home. In the mornings, phone calls would pour in BECAUSE they went home and orders were left on the delivery skid at the pharmacy when they should have been en route to the patients home. Their motto is "One company, One Team" it makes sense and sounds good, but is worthless when it describes this company.

ADVICE!:

if you are 100% fed up, when you call, give the customer service rep your name, dob, verify address, etc. then immediately ask for a team lead or manager to fill your order! once they put their name in the notes they are BOUND to get your order out because they have the "save yourself" mindset.

if you need to speak with the pharmacist, call your LOCAL pharmacist - by the time you get to speak with a prxss pharmacist you could have walked to indianapolis and asked them yourself in person!

report to your insurance company every single problem and document when you spoke with them and what was said because after speaking to a manager at the insurance they may give you override to use local pharmacies for your meds, remember YOU are paying for the insurance!
