be aware that a company called preferred long distance or another company,CTEL. calling on behalf of preferred long distance. They claim that they will remove individual line charges and lower your per minute call rate for your long distance. When in all reality, you probley are NOT paying long distance line charges nor on a "basic rate plan". They will charge you a monthly fee of $8.95 or $12.95, depending on the state you you live in. They are NOT working with AT&T. They are a a differant company and are switching your long distance. Also if you are in a contract they will enforce penalities or terminating early fees. This program WILL NOT save you money. What it will do is raise you long distance phone bill. I worked for this company for several years and was let go inder false pretenses. IT IS A SCAM!!!!! The reps will lie and do anything for your sale. They are paid on a commission basis, and need you to say YES!!! With this company if your sales are down will send you home early or terminate the employment if you are mot making sales. They will tell you they are not selling anything..... no what they sre doing is switching your long distance at any cost... They have no number for you to call the reps back on, So a word of advice..... If this company calls you, Tell them to put you on their DO NOT CALL LIST.... For if you tell then you're not intreseted, they will call you back in a few months because they recycle their leads. So it's better to get off their list and get off of it quick!!!!!
