Your Error was in hitting the BACK button in your browser, rather than clicking on the link to take you back to re do your bid. Anytime you are dealing with your credit card on a secure site, their server applications have no way to know that you hit your back button! When you are in a secure transaction area, READ YOUR SCREEN. Priceline is a valid service, but computers are not perfect. As the person said above your CC company with help you, priceline could've helped you too. My rule is when dealing with shopping on line, i never ever user my back button on the browser, and if I feel 'trapped' I just close the browser and start from scratch. Hopefully another Helpful Hint from Your Pal Al

All you have to do is contact your credit card company and advise them this is an unauthorized transaction. They have to work on your behalf. They will reverse the charges and you will be off the hook. A company can not charge you unless they can prove that you authorized the transaction. They have no proof, or signature. Call the credit card company and take the bull by the horns. The legal scales are tilted in your favor.
