Prime TV ripoff Promised rebate on installtion over 5 months still no check after many phone calls & promises & more paperwork submitted consumer fraud ripoff Southern Pines North Carolina
In May I responded to an ad in the paper for free installation of Direct TV. The installation was done, I was told to pay the installer and then file for a rebate to Prime TV located in Southern Pines NC. I did this. I was told I did not submit all needed paperwork, got copies of my check both to the installer and to Direct TV for my first payment for service.
I was told I had to send an actual bill from Direct TV. I did so. I was told I could not take the payment coupon off the bill I sent; I protested and was told as of June 19, I was approved for a refund. I have called weekly to hear that Iam on the approved list but not on the list for a check to be cut. It is October 22 and I still do not have a check for the $140 promised.
