Prime TV consumer fraud ripoff rebate I am still waiting for my 99.00 rebate from Prime TV (subscribed 12/14/02). Southern Pines North Carolina
I subscribed to Direct TV on 12/14/02. I am still waiting for my 99.00 rebate from Prime TV. I have made "many" calls. When you call them you are ask to press a # if you are calling about your rebate check. Must be alot of other people waiting for rebates.
I was told by a Dana in Customer service that my check would be here in 10 days. When it didn't arrive I called again and was told the check would be here in 10 days. This of course is after several other calls, and of course being told that the account was put on "Critical Status" and sent to a Manager to be processed promptly.
I am now being told again that the "Account is on "Critical Status" for the third time. I have asked to speak to a Manager twice. The first time i was told that there was no manager available. Today I was transfered to someone's voicemail who did not address herself as a manager, but just by name. I bet I will not be called back any time soon.
I have also read a rebuttal by a former employee of Prime TV that said "be patient" " it sometimes takes a long time for a large company to process through all thse rebates" To this I would say, Wrong my Friend! I have worked for several Major Corporations and have been involved with sending, and even signing refund checks. Anything more than 30 days over their stated time frame is completely unacceptable!
I am sure there are many good hard working employees of Prime TV that are just trying to do their jobs. I think you need to look "up" at who's making policy etc. But be careful not to get anything in your eye!
