I found this web site (ripoffreport.com) after a few hours of trying to find a phone number for the refund Dept. of Primerica. I could not believe how many responses /complaints I was seeing not only on this website but all over the internet. Well let me rephrase that- I couldn't believe how many people had gotten ripped off exactly the same way that I did by Primerica. I think the thing that makes this companies practices and methods so appalling is the that their over all way of recruiting people, is to say that the main goal of Primerica is to "Help people". And the great thing about this, is that in the process, you will be able to help yourself and your family become "financially Independent". For those of you who went through the same training courses that I did (if you can call them training)you know how many times that phrase was used.

As a Single Mother of 2 children my goal is to make a good life for them. I am a very ambitious person who is willing to work hard to make that goal a reality. Primerica preys on people like this. They "recruit" people in dead end jobs or people who have had financial hardships and tell them they can help them achieve this goal. In reality, all you will achieve is allot of wasted time, allot of disappointment, and your hard earned money being wasted.

Going into this situation I was very skeptical. One of my very close friends was also recruited in the same time period as I. When we went to the very first meeting, I was very impressed by there presentation. After it was over and I was told I was chosen for an interview I was very exited but still leery. You know the old saying "if it sounds to good to be true it is" what I later found out is that anyone who wants an interview gets one. And from there- anyone who is willing to pay the $199.00 to for the training is hired. And what is it that you are training to be? Well they tell you your training is to get your Licenses. Life Insurance, Investment, and Loan Originator to be exact. But what the don't tell you is that you are not really licensed to do any thing. Their method is to rope you in and then they give you very limited information on how the company works, and what you will actually be doing there. After a few months of this and giving it alot more time than I should have I finally said forget it. I am still waiting for the refund that I was told would come so quickly. After reading the other victims reports I am worried that it will not come at all.

There is no question that this company is a rip off- the question now, is how can we stop them from continuing to prey people who have a dream to make there life better. We need to do something about this and other companies like them.
