Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I bought two color cartridges on two separate occcasions (#HP C6578A). One in September 2002 (order number 1721-4771-7883). The other was in December of 2002. I kept both of them in reserve till I ran out of color ink. In other words, I didn't want to have to order them when I ran out but rather have at least one on hand when I did run out. As it turned out, I didn't replace one until May 2003. When I replaced the cartridge, I didn't get all the colors. So I tried the other and got the same problem.

As both cartridges showed a problem, I deduced my problem was with the printer. So I spent literally hours on fixing this (replacing printer drivers, looking up FAQs on the Net, talking to a local repair shop, etc) I was going nowhere until someone suggested I simply try an OEM cartridge. It worked perfectly, which meant your cartriges do not work for my printer.

When I called Printpal, I was told to return them for a refund, including postage (if I mailed them First Class). This I did. Bottom line, I received a refund on one and not on the other and no postage was refunded. When I called in late May, I was told that the September order was beyond the 6 month warranty. My point was that the cartridge was unopened until May and all of the color was virtually there as could be determined by a simple examination. So it wasn't like I was using this thing and then wanted a refund on a fully used cartridge!

I called Lissa to explain that though I understood you had policy, sometimes, following policy creates an injustice. This was my case. When I called back in early June, I did not get Lissa but got Tanya instead. She checked the notes and checked the status and informed me they were going to issue a refund for the September Cartridge after all , even though it was past warranty. But no postage would be refunded. I said I would take what I could get and left it at that.

A check of my June statement revealed no such refund was made and I then resumed calling. Was told finally that Print Pal was in fact not going to refund after all.
