The company cannot make you pay just because you 'forgot' to return the product within a certain time; in fact even if you never returned their product you do not have to pay; all the Unsolicited Goods Act asks you to do is to take reasonable care of the product and make it available for THEIR collection. If they don't, destroy it. If they try to tell you otherwise, tell them you have reported them to the Procurator Fiscal for criminal action against the Directors and Company Secretary. Hope this is of help.
