ProMed Personnel Services, Inc Sexual Harassment, Stealing, Threats, False Contracts New York New York
ProMed Personnel is operated like a bad brokerage house. The owner, Cary Weiss, cannot handle authority and thus chose to operate his own staffing company. He hires new account managers to generate leads and after leads are generated, he takes the accounts and fires the account managers. It is documented that he has hired and fired over 60 employees in a 2 year period for this reason alone. He gives a contract stating health insurance will begin in 90 days and then does not provide coverage for over 180 days, this is documented. He sends threatening and harassing emails and leaves threatening and harassing voicemails on personal cell phones (I have this all this documented too.) They require you to work over 50 hrs a week and do not pay a fair commission, so you will end up earning about $10 per hour with no health insurance after several months. He only hires women and calls them "cookie" "sweetie" etc, I have this documented on film. He threatens to fire the entire staff every week (again, recorded). He has forged tax filings and has a couple disgruntled peopple who break the law for them, they have copies of his reports and are planning to turn him in this year. If he would only allow new account managers to truly succeed, he would develope real presence in the industry.
As a sales rep, I met every billing requirement and was still "fired." For no reason whatsoever. Its a shame, I liked the work and I worked hard, but the threats and unprofessional environment was simply astounding. After leaving, I found out from Access Staffing and other companies in the NYC area that Cary is well known for being a horrible person and his company is not reputable. While I have enough "evidence" to press charges, I will only participate in a class action suit because to sue Cary and win is not possible. He operates in an at-will state! Legally, he knows how nasty and greedy he can be. They did not even provide coffee in the office! LOL.
I learned my lesson and developed experience so all in all I am letting by gones be by gones. And yes, many people did have panic attacks and cry in his office after he yelled and swore at them for no reason. The man is sick and it is only matter of time before he is driving home and gets run off the road. ;)
