Promenade Limousine and Coachworks Inc. Promenade Limo and Coachworks of Clearwater, of St. Pete, of Tampa, Peter Elkahly Terrible company rents limos he doesnt even own and marks up price, charges lots of hidden fees Saint Petersburg Florida
There are so many things wrong with this company I dont know where to start. First off their name is Promenade Limo & Coachworks, when my friend reserved on the phone the owner Peter seemed shocked when she asked what type of limos he builds. He had no idea what the word 'Coachworks' meant. Its the name of his friggin company and this guy doesn't know what the word means??
We should have realized then and there not to reserve but we did anyway, bigggg mistake. The owner told us that a tip was not required then charged us 20% when the limo arrived and also charged us a 10% fee for something ( fuel I think tye driver said). This is terrible to lie about the costs up front.
Then to top it off the limo smelled as though someone had been smoking a cigar in it. The limo had no AC it was mid 90's out and they send a limo that smells awful and was as hot as a sauna.
We tryed to call Peter and only reached voice mail. At the first stop we asked the driver to call Peter for us and he didn't know who Peter was! He worked for a totally different company. He put his boss on the phone and he said that Peter only owns 1 Town Car limo. We were in a black Hummer.
So Peter had pretended that we were renting a limo from him and sent someone else and charged us more! We tryed to find Promenades office in Clearwater but it didn't exist then we drove to Tampa and it didnt exist either then we went to the St. Pete address and couldnt find anybody but an old black lincoln was sitting there.
It took us almost a week and at least 8 calls before we got a hold of Peter who denied it all and said it was his limo. He said he would call us after talking to the driver. Peter has still not called us almost 6 months later! Do not use this company, and if your really bored just try to find their office which doesn't exist!
