After months of bullying and unprofessional conduct by my coworkers, I sought the help of my management team. This group of people have successfully caused either the dismissal or voluntary quitting of at least 7people, I was determined not to be amoung those, but instead I was going to fight to make a difference and create a better work enviroment.

  This continured behavior  has been documented, yet these people are allowed to continue in this manner. After going to mangement and HR the enviroment worsened on a daily basis. Still nothing was done to correct this behavior.

This went on for a year with management and HR fully aware of the continued problems.

Because of both management and HR's lack of training and courage, I was terminated therefore ending the problem. However, as I have predicted, that did nothing of the kind and yet another victim has been singled out.

This will continue as there are no managers with the ability, strength, or courage to correct this problem.

Sadly this unprofessional conduct does end up affecting our patients, and the work enviroment.

Should anyone out there be considering a job at this clinic; think twice! IF you already work there, DO NOT go to management or HR for any reason. Nothin you say will be held in confidence. The problem will not be dealt with, YOU will be.

Apon my termination, my Manager, and two co-workers packed up my desk and had so much fun doing so they broke, and destroyed pictures and picture frames, tore up cards and of corse denied this.

I filed a police report and contacted my COO and CEO with evidence and pictures of the destroyed items only to be told "the employees that packed my desk were interviewed and denied any destruction to my personal belongings.

You are supposed to be safe when reporting unprofessional behavior or behavior not up the mission value set by the company, you are encouraged to seek help when necessary, and as a team player expected to participate daily in making your enviroment a better place to be.

It is well known that anyone who refuses to become part of the problem, then becomes the problem.Sadly most managers today do not have the skills that positions requires and the employee that requested help, is destroyed in the feeding frenzie that ensures. 

Most co-workers that are aware of the situation will not come forth as they do not want to either lose their jobs or become a victim in the feeding frenzie, therefore the whistle blowers stands alone.

I followed every single avenue available to me per protocol, only to be failed at every turn, once you go to management or HR, your fate is already determined, with no recourse avalible to you. YOU ARE ALONE.

I was speaking to a friend who has been a float for a Providence clinic for some 2 1/2 years.

Being a float is difficult as you must be available whenever you are called, many times you will be called to a different office where things are also done differently. Personalities are different, you may work 4 hours, or 8. You may get to where you are assigned only to find a message to go somewhere else. THERE ARE NO BENEFITS for these  workhorses. Without Floats, lots of regular employees would not get the time off they want, the office may not run a smoothly being short handed, etc.

This employee has NEVER refused to go to any assignment, is always there in a timely manner and is dressed as is appropriate.

After being a committed employee of PROVIDENCE she recieved a computer generated LETTER yesterday releasing her from her employment!!!!!!!! She was hurt and APPALLED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I was simply disgusted by this, though not shocked.   I have been in the workforce for about 30years and NEVER in all of those years have I seen ANY company handle an employee in such a deplorable manner. Certainly after two and half years of coming when called (woof) and serving whatever need PROVIDENCE had,  she certainly DESERVED a phone call from the attending supervisor of manager of that dept. explaining the reason she would no longer be needed.

With each and every story I hear, I become more and more disgusted by the lack of respect PROVIDENCE employees are treated with. Though they preach how they will respect you, care for you...blah blah blah.....lies all lies.

SHAME ON YOU PROVIDENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  no wonder your own people go to ROGUE VALLEY MED CTR for treatment and care.

It has been brought to my attention, after speaking with several of the specialty offices that I onced scheduled appointments with the one of this group of people involved in the bullying and unprofessional behavior, has taken it apon herself to advise these offices that I had been fired, why SHE believes I was fired and what it is like to work with me. All of which is being done on PROVIDENCE equipment, and outside of the capacity of her job. I believe this to be ILLEGAL considering that even during a job verification, the company cannot give any information except for the start date, and end date of the persons employment.

Again I emailed one of the direct managers regarding this matter, and his response, like all the others, " I will address your concerns". However, these are not just MY concerns any longer as these inappropriate conversations  with other offices are being conducted on PROVIDENCE equipment and  on PROVIDENCE time.

This extremely tight knit community is not very forgiving, and these conversations she had taken upon herself to have, will, without doubt, impede my search for gainful employment in my field.

Make no mistake, I am not without fault, however, I committed no offense that should have cost me my job; I simply spoke up regarding an unprofessional  situation that has gone on long before me and to this date continues. Many people have been hurt by this group and have either willingly quit their jobs or ended up being fired, and still this same group retains their jobs to single out yet another victim. In my case, it has continued into my private life as well as into the private sector.

When I began my employment with PROVIDENCE MEDICAL GROUP there was a REAL management team in place. A team that cared, that worked long hard hours to make the work enviroment a better place to be. A team that made people WANT to work for them. One memeber of that team has left PROVIDENCE, another took a better job in another city....PROVIDENCE replaced that great team with people who do not deserve the title or MANAGER in any way. They are unskilled, untrained, uncaring, never available to the workers. They preach what they DO NOT practice, and when ANYONE complains or goes to them for help, they are fired, or put on a shelf.

HR does not exist for this company. They do not have the time for anyone who needs their help. THEY ARE NOT THERE FOR THE PEOPLE. They have not ethics, and do not understand the word "confidentiality". DO NOT TRUST THEM TO HELP YOU.  You will be tried and convicted the minute you dial their #.

The job of a "lifetime" has turned into a nightmare that continues to chase me, again , due to the lack of managements ability to control the people who cannot control themselves.

If you care about your self, your self esteem, your dignity, your future, DO NOT SEEK WORK with PROVIDENCE.

see attached pictures of my belongings from my desk, that my CEO advised me, was packed with such care by the 3people, including one manager , who laughed and giggled about me being fired while the broke unreplaceable items. My CEO was sent pictues of this "care" and a police report for malicious vandilism was filed, however, my CEO states he interviewed these people who assured him my desk was packed with EXTREME CARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   how then can ANYONE DENY the story these pictures tell??????????????????????
