Used my friend's hacked Linkedin account to contact me. Online sign up form for mystery shopper. Emailed me FAQs from [email protected] Emailed about upcoming assignment Mailed a check for $2,985 and an assessment form with instructions to purchase 2 iPhone Xs but not asking for anything in return other than the assessment form and notification of assignment received, check deposited, purchase made via text message to Michael SCOTT at 774-728-8485.
I lied about having made the purchase and via text I was told to send the product to: JAMES REED 5100 FM 1960 RD W APT 1815 HOUSTON, TX 77069 Check then bounced as I found out after reporting the scam to my bank. Thankfully, I had not used the funds and was only charged a $12 returned check fee.
