got this company off the internet. was promised one price and once all my items were picked up the price doubled. all my furniture came damaged. missing furniture and personal items. when they got to my apartment they threatened to take my things and not unload my items until i was paid in full. they were a week late getting to my destination. when they unloaded the items they discovered that they forgot half my items in florida.  they had to make a second delivery. they refused to set up and put the furniture together. i lost a day of work and could not live in my apartment so i lost a week of rent.

when they picked up my furniture they trashed my friend's house and refused to clean up the mess. what they are trying to do on their website is have people write in good reviews to counter the bad reviews. if you go and search you will find that i am not the only one they have done this to. i found at least 20 other people this happend to. i have a claim in. i know what i will accept and what i won't. i have an attorney and we are ready to file in civil court after the first of they year.

they tried to glue pieces of a table together and when i went to dust it the piece fell off. i will not only be filing for the money back for the move but this will include extortion as one of the charges.

beware of this company.....they have done this before and unles they are stopped they will continue to do this over and over again.

my friend and I decided to move across the country from Ohio to Arizona, I understand that Is a far move and it took us two long days to get here ourselves. the public movers were scheduled to pick our stuff up on Friday the 15th however on the 14th they called and told us they had a truck nearby and asked if we would move our pick update to that day at 5pm. we had a going away party that night starting at 830 for our lifelong friends and figured 3.5 hours was enough time to load the truck. at 5pm we called just to see how much longer, figuring they might be 30 mins late. they were still 80miles out.

we accepted That annoyingly. 730pm rolls around and they're not here so I called trying to reach the head office to reset us up for the next day like originally planned because this was huge inconvenience. the driver told me they rescheduled the next day to be in Georgia and would not put us back to our original pick up date and also said he was 75 miles away. this is when I became fedup, it had been 1.5 hours and the driver only made it 5 miles!!! the driver hung up on me however did call back just to hand the phone over to another guy in theloading truck pretending to be dispatch and tell me they could pick up the next Monday but we had to be in our apartment on that Monday.

I told him this was their fault and they needed to fix it. I was told one hour could really be 24 hours. that is handsdown something you should ellaberate on. they were 30 miles out by the time the conversation ended and reached her place by 830 but did not reach mine till 10pm. we went from $1200 estimate to a $3700 price, that is 3x the quote and we are two young girls moving out for the first time we had a grand total of 3 rooms altogether. two of them being bedrooms. backs against the wall we played the 40% and my father supervised them loading my stuff so we could catch the rest Of our friends at our party, all of them that hadn't already left.

we told the company that we would get there the 19th and they gave us the impression it wcould be there the same day, that would give them 5days to get here. we called to see when they would come and they said not till the next Tuesday the 26th but there was nothing we could do, we were told weather, road conditions etc play into the dates, i was hung up on again in this conversation. extremely pissed we accepted because what else can you do at this point. we bought air mattresses, pillows, blankets, silverware, plates. for one week now we have had only our restroom and kitchen lights. the next Tuesday came the 26th of february (today ) and we called to get an estimated time and we were told not until early next week. thank god I packed my clothing with me for my roundtrip out here.

we have read over and over our contract and it says it usually takes 21 business days and with the 8 non business days in a month that comes to 30 days however they state that any oral promise are just mere estimates. I have had to make arrangements to buy new legal documents just to get registered in this state so I can work. I'm still in the process of waiting for overnight delivery. it takes 36 hours to drive here not a month. we are looking into getting free consultations to find loopholes especially after reading other people's reviews of the deliver holding their stuff hostige till they were payed in full. this company does not deserve 3x our original quote after leaving us hopeless here for god knows how long. please help if you can.

I  used public movers and from the minute the movers walked into my apartment the price doubled.  My back was against the wall. they showed up a day late and 2 hours before i had to be at the airport. i agreed to the doubled price only because i had to leave and could not postpone to change movers. after loading up my furniture he handed me an invoice which had an even higher price than we agreed 15 min prior. the amount exceeds the cost of my furniture and it is all brand new, i only had 2 items of furniture 6 small bins,  When i call the office they said the original person i spoke to not longer has anything to do with my move and a supervisor will call me back by the end of the day. I have yet to recieve a call.   Your attorney should get all of our information and start a class action suit and take them down.  what they are doing is definately extortion and is not right.
