Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

My dying father has entered Publishers Clearinghouse sweepstakes for over 20 years hoping to win. They always told him that he was the top three, five or ten in these drawings and year after years he purchased their knock off products that would cost more after shipping and handling then if he would just bought the real products. The products that they sale is over priced and cheaply made and don't even last 6 months of use. Nevertheless he always thought he would win. I have tried to tell him it was a scam and not to waste his social security on them. I even to him to my bank and well know bank and they told he it was a scam. This year they started with win 5000 for life. That drawing ended march. Then he asked my to register the next sweepstakes, 7000 for life on the internet in hopes he would have a better chance. I was bombarded with emails from them and it would always redirect me to an ad for different companies. I start getting emails and phone calls from those companies, several times day and night. Which cost me in high data charges. Now my dad is dying and under the care of Hospice. They just sent 6 vouchers for 400 dollars to purchase different item but he would have to pay the remaining difference of the products. They don't realize you can buy a Dell laptop under 400 dollars at Wal-Mart, Radio Shack, Target, etc. Why no-one steps in and stops them for fraud, harassment, the list goes on and on. Shame them and shame on no-one stopping them from preying the elderly who are on fixed income as it is. Where is the justice. From a loving daughter
