It is well known that WOC are big scammers and are a puppymill. What happened to you was fraud and theft. You can and should press charges on the owner for stealing your money and misrepresenting the puppy (which will be considered a product). Make sure you have all of your emails and paperwork present and you will be able to get ALL of your money back as well as keep the puppy. Go to court and show (with bank statements) that they took more then what they stated in emails and their site. You will automatically get that back. Then show that the puppy was misrepresented and that she came with a heredity condition that wasn't told about before you purchased the puppy. That is fraud. They sold a basically sick puppy and didn't tell you about it which in turn you accumulated higher vet bills. You can actually sue for the vet bills, also! Sue for all that you can and you will get the maximium that you can in small claims court. The problem with Wizard of Claws (WOC) is that no one does anything about getting scammed. They complain but never go though with their actions. Simply sue and you will get what is owed! When speaking with them, they will take you in circles and deny everything. that is why you should speak mainly through emails or if calling, record the conversation. All of this is important proof. Good Luck!
