i am an ase certified technician and smog certified. this story is not credible. why was she getting the injectors cleaned? injectors are generally non serviceable. they do not require cleaning as a maintenance item, fuel filters do. purrfect is not perfect. there managers are sales people who generally dont know cars, they know sales. its up to the consumer to be informed. as far as the c.v boot being torn, unlikely they were cut by purrfect. i see many on nissan and honda that rip over time, very common. as far as the cooling fan issue, who knows. i see people try to associate an oil change cuasing a tire to go flat. some things are not related. this lady needs to get off crack.

I could imagine being ripped off by Midas, BMW dealership, Mercedes Benz dealership and many other mechanic shops that I have taken my vehicles through out the years. However, I would never dare to say that all dealerships of this brand or that brand are bad or they rip people off. Generalization of this nature is very harmful to a lot of honest and hard working mechanics and mechanic shop owners. I have taken my cars for oil change for the last 35 years and I have never jacked the car up and examine under the car for possible defect before going for an oil change. Why did her husband went and examined under the car the night before oil change service? May be her husband is a mechanic. Then why didn't he change the oil himself? I don't think her story is creditable. When I used to live in CA I used to go to Purrfect Auto Service all the time and had never had any problems with them.
