Radio Accounting Service Radio Accounting Services scammed me into a supposed radio ad as they found my upstart business on Veteranownedbusiness.com. Veteranownedbusiness.com has prompted a SCAM ALERT! Chicago Illinois
I was called by a gentleman from this company "Radio Accounting Service" and he stated he found my business on “VeteranOwnedBusiness.com” website and they were running a special for the week leading up to the 4th of July. I agreed to a radio ad on 740 Radio WSBR/AM, the program was called “Salute To Troops” the gentleman was so convincing and sounded as though he was very grateful for my military service and was offering a special promotion only offered to veterans who owned businesses in the South Florida area. He assured me that I would be doing a great service to my business in support of the other veterans in my area.
I was promised a transcript of the ad to be aired prior to the ad in order to verify the information was correct. I was also told I would receive an .mp3 audio of the ad with proof it was played in my area in which I did not receive either. What I did receive is a bill from them stating I owe them 399.00 for an ad I have no proof of. Since then I and other registered veteran businesses have been notified by VeteranOwnedBusiness.com through Facebook that:
VETERAN SCAM ALERT: we received a contact from one of our members telling us they were contacted by a sales guy representing several radio stations offering a deal on a radio program that supports veterans. This slick sales person claimed to have found his business on the Veteran Owned Business Directory. PLEASE NOTE: we neither have any association with nor give any endorsement to any such radio station (or printed publications, government contracting directory), etc. Please give careful consideration to any such offer(s) as you would anyone else trying to sell you something that may or may not have any value to you or your company. We continue to hear stories about people being charged various fees for said radio ads where their accounts/credit cards are being automatically charged! Don't let this happen to you! Please feel free to contact us directly through Facebook if you believe a person/persons/business is trying to sell you something with the false claim to either be associated with or endorsed by the Veteran Owned Business Project. Once again, we never give out or sell any member’s information!
This is a scam and I fell for it!

I agreed to a radio ad on 1070 kwel/AM, the program was called “Salute To Troops” the gentleman was so convincing and sounded as though he was very grateful for my military service and was offering a special promotion only offered to veterans who owned businesses in the West Texas area. He assured me that I would be doing a great service to my business in support of the other veterans in my area.
I was promised a transcript of the ad to be aired prior to the ad in order to verify the information was correct. To this date I am receiving calls from Mike Jones Radio Accounting to pay for Advertising that I never received. I was sent a script that aired in support of my business with the wrong branch of service and false info on add. I will not pay RAI for there wrong doing. How do i stop the harassment

Radio Advertising Inc. is contracted and actively works with 800 radio stations across the country. Due to our high call and sales voulume unfortunately we have received some complaints. Any ads purchased from our clients are aired on the radio station listed on the clients invoice and we do provide any requested affidavit of performance. Sales are made via telephone and authorized completely prior to process, the client is sent invoice and broadcast schedule by mail prior to the air dates. Radio Advertising strives to keep our business owners and radio stations sarisfied.
