Raise.com Sold Gift Card on Raise.com website. Was never paid. Chicago Illinois
I own a small business (yes, brick-n-mortar) in Texas since 2005. We decided to start adding buy/sell gift cards to our repertoire around September of 2016. Used the Raise.com website to sell 2 gift cards (1 transaction). I shipped them out from my location. Raise never paid me - kept giving me the excuse that my Texas Sales Tax License wasn't good enough for them to register me as a business! We're at an impasse. Also BBB in Chicago was ZERO help. Dropped the case without even contacting me. Thank goodness it was only $15 they owed me - glad I didn't get on the hook for hundreds!
