RAMADA PLA RESORTS ripoff they cheated us out of 2000 dollars deceptive company the business that doesn't give a dam FT. LAUDERDALE Florida
About a year ago , I recieved a letter from Ramada Plaza Resorts telling me that I was one of few selected to take part in this dicounted vacation package. I usually throw these things away, but for some reason I called just to see what this was about. The letter indicatd that each person selected was only allowed 1 all.
I immediatley called my boyfriend and asked him to be on the line to listen to what they hd to say. We spoke with a very frindly rep who described in detail this wondeful vacation at highly discounted price.
She also advised me that included was 10 bonus vacations that can be taken after the Orlando/Ft Lauderdale trip. She assured me that I could sell or transfer the bonus trps ifwe could not use them all.
I quickly asked her" Whats the catch" She explained that the only requirement is that for 1 day of our day trip we attend a time share semina w/ no obligation to buy. We had to decide right then and there so my boyfriend gave his credit card # and made the downpayment of 698.
A few months later I saw many complaints about this company on the net and panicked. I called the company and a manager assured me that those lawsuits were 3 years old and since then hey remodeled there resorts and spent millions of dollars upgrading. He even sent me a money back guarrentee letter-stating that if I am not satisfied w/ the trip I will recieve my money back...I breathed a sigh of relief and we set a date and paid off the trip.
We were supposed to go in 3/02, but had to postpone. We have not rescheduled yet, bu now I m reading many many new horror stories from this year on the net..I feel like I was scammed twice by this company an want my money back.
When I tried tp cal them I ws transferred so many times I hung up and cried. ....I can't believe I was so naive...Any assistance I can get in how to get my 2000 back would be greatly appreciated!!!
