I was sold one of these package vacations through Ramada Plaza Resorts. At the time I was promised the moon and stars.... first rate, luxury hotel accomadations and bonus trips.

Within 24 hours I tried to call and cancel my

purchase, but was told that since it was a pre-paid vacation the best they could do is sell me a cheaper package. (Which was entirely untrue.. in fact I should

have been able to cancel at this point)In fear of losing everything I agreed to the cheaper package.

I called the company last week to book my vacation which

was an aditional 38.00 and was informed that I would further be charged 12.00 a night for taxes upon arrival. More fees? I thought everything was covered. At

this time I asked which accomadations I would be given and was told either Amerihost or Ramada Plaza Universal. Excited about my luxury vacation I went online to check the results.

Neither Hotel is anywhere near the first rate

accomodations I was promised. Furthermore I encountered horror story after horror story on this vacation package. This company uses high pressure sales

tactics and deceit to swindle people out of their hard earned money. Please stop

them from doing this to others.

Humanitarians HA! ..name being used to swindle

In further research today... I noted that Daniel Lambert and Ramada Plaza Resorts are named as great humanitarians. Guess our mandatory $1.00 donation serves as great public relations for RPR. Also RRP claims they own the Ramada Plaza Resort on the video, yet it is listed as a Ramada property, yet Ramada adamately denies their affiliation with RPR, and barely seemed concerned when I called them about their name being used to swindle. Hmmmmm can any one clarify? Also Isn't it interesting that Ramada and RPR are both recognized by the humanitarian organization for their donations to this childrens' fund? http://www.planusa.org/members/corporate.php
