Ramada Plaza Resorts wants to charge port fees although we are no going on a cruise. Fort Lauderdale Florida
Since 2003, I have been involved with Ramada Plaza Resorts with a view to participating in one of there vacation packages. However, due to illness of my wife and I at various tmes, we have been unable to use the Ramada Plaza services.
Last year, a Ramada Plaza representative informed me that we could use land portion of the package without going on the cruise. When I called today to check o the possibility of using thei facility in Orlando, I was told that I had to pay almost #300.00 more in port fees even though I was not going on a cruise but was going to visit in Orlando, FL..
Without checking with my credit card provider, I am not positive as to the exact amount I have paid to Ramada Plaza Resorts but it about $2000.00. I shouldn't owe them any more to use the Orlando facility.
The State of Florida should review the Ramada Plaza Resorts policies and operating procedures to insure that customers are not ripped off.
