Do believe every negative thing you read about this facility/organization.

I was scheduled to stay in their facilities 1/6-1/10/04. After receiving my confirmation, I wanted to find out more about the facility. I searched using MSN and found this website as well as consumeraffairs.com. I started getting really nervous when I found their website and the only pictures I could see were one of the lobby. Their "photo gallery" was empty and there were only two testimonials.

I decided the $250 I spent was not worth risking my safety and good vacation with my 5 year old. I am a single mom and $250 is a lot of money, but from what I was hearing, it just was too big of a risk. I decided to stay at the Marriot Courtyard instead (got a good deal-cheaper than this place).

While there I decided to drive by the facility. This facility is right on the corner of I-4 and some other major road in a very low income housing area with bars on the doors and windows of some. As you exit the facility and look down the road, you can see the Orange County Prison and all it's barbed wire glory. There are bondsmen offices and all the other legal stuff in the area. It is not pretty. I can only imagine the timeshare property they were trying to pawn off! I consider myself a pretty sharp gal, I have a great job, and this is the first scam I fell for.

I learn from my mistakes though and ALL Ramada Plaza hotels are not in my bright future! My next letter is to the dear governor. I have sent my letter of warning to dear Mr. Lambert as you may have read the others have. I've not received a refund, but I will be persistent.

I wrote my initial report and the next day checked my visa and was informed I have a a credit from RPR. I don't think it included the cancellation fee of $28, but the rest was refunded! If you are unsure about taking youf trip, be advised there is an alternative.
