Ramada Plaza Resorts-Grand Opening Celebration Vacation Cruise Ripoff, Ft Lauderdale Florida
We paid the down payment of $598.00 for a trip to include Ft Lauderdale, Nassau, Orlando in 1998. I immediately called to cancel this upon receiving the package. They informed us that there was no way that we could cancel. I told them that we not only could we not afford this, but we were not interested in buying into any type of timeshare or resort property. They told me that they would upgrade us to a better package. I have since called them numerous times only to be told each time that there is no way that they can issue us a refund. This is a rip-off that I believe companies shouldn't be allowed to solicite.
We want our money back, but they keep refusing. It has been almost 4 years since we paid the down payment and we still have not been able to cancel. They just keep extending the time we have to take this trip.
All we want is our money back and to be done with these people.
All I can find about them on the internet is nothing but bad news.
Please don't let others be lured into their falsehoods.
