Just yesterday I received the offer by mail to call. I diid and spoke to to a rep. Linda Overstreet. The offer sounded too goood to be true and I put the first charge of $698.00 to my Visa.

Today, I come across this web site and i am stunned! I am planning on calling them to day and ask for a refund. What other steps do have to take. I live in NJ so I am planning on contacting my attorney General. Please any feed back is highly appreciated.

Hi all, I just called my bank and I was informed that Ramada did indeed refund my money back. I must thank the RIP OFF site for making me aware of this situation and everyone who provided their help and comments. I truelly hope everyone who is expecting a refund do get it. And I want to thank the Ramada rep who helped me get my money back also. Thank you!

I paid $698.00 on Thurs, Jan 16 and on Monday, Jan 20th after reading all these complaints I called Ramada. I just rec'd a post card stating I will receive my refund. I wrote a long update on what I did to get it by just calling Ramada but my computer shut down and I lost it. So, now I am too tried to rewrite it all over. So just know that I stated my case with persistent, business tone, I was never rude, disrespectful, angry or defensive. The cust. srvce rep also kept his demeaner. I stated everything I read on line and said no to all the upgrade, presidents signed garantees, package changes and no matter how beautiful he painted my vacation I simple kept saying no thank you, I just want a refund. After 45 minutes of him trying to convience me to keep the vacation and I saying no and using what I read at this site to back me up and stated my case for wanted a refund he finally said ok you will receive a post card to confirm the refund. I will verify with Visa in about 2 weeks to make sure I rec'd a refund. I guess it's all about the approach. I know there are some reps who are just down right rude but the man I reached wasn't. I guess my suggestion to all who want a refund is to call Ramada, state your case and say no to everything and stay calm. If you get a nasty rep. hang up and call again until you get one that will listen and even though they all will try to talk you out of getting the refund finally one will give you the respect you deserve and maybe will eventually give you the refund. Lots of luck!!!!!!!!
