In Feb 2015 I was interested in his 1977 Mercedes he had listed on ebay. We worked out a side deal outside of ebay which included a $300. initial deposit via Paypal. I originally was to come from Baltimore in April to complete the deal at SFO and was to send a second deposit by March 15th. I was able to come sooner so we agreed to meet on March 21st at SFO and I would pay the balance of $1,000. then and take possession of the car and title. He waited until March 19th to send me an email stating there was antifreeze in the oil and he was having the car towed. Who TF makes a deal with someone 2800 miles away and doesn't call them ? Instead sends an email.
Then on March 20th, we finally spoke on the phone and he decided not to sell the car. I told him I wanted my deposit back and he agreed. Six days later he was still giving me lies about the deposit. Attached is the email he sent about the antifreeze discovery. I should have checked his ebay feedback first. He is a thief. Public records show he lives with David B. Hale at the 3rd Street address. Randy's email address is [email protected] and his phone number is 415-699-8856. He thinks he is slick but wait until he is served my civil papers for my deposit, all my lost travel expenses and court fees. He indicated on the phone that David Hale was part owner of the car so he gets served too.

A refund is definitely available to this individual in the amount of $300.00. All communication was lost, but if I am provided an address where I can send a certified letter with a cashiers check for his $300.00 it will go out this week. He does indicate an incorrect emIl address so perhaps that is why I never got an address for him, but again confirm you are who you say your with an address where I can get confirmation of receipt and this refund will be on its way. However you are in error and liable in starring this car was co-owned absolutely untrue.
