Randy Eshleman is a contractor I was connected with through Uship.com. I hired him to transport my two cats, Edgar and Lily (3 years old) from my home in Los Angeles to my mother's home in Cleveland, Ohio.
In short, Randy lied about the conditions in which the cats would be transported, and Lily never made it to my mom's. He looked at my mother and said "there are two cats in the cage", when there was CLEARLY only one.
Edgar was in BAD shape when he arrived and required emergency care, and there was another puppy in the back of his truck that was so emaciated and malnourished it could not stand nor lift its head, and my mom said she could see the poor thing's skull bones. The puppy was also completely covered in its own feces. Keep in mind, my cats were happy and healthy when they left me.
Randy refused me a refund, and all he had to say was "cats are the sneakiest animals on the planet, I don't know what happened, she probably ran up a tree somewhere". I'm an animal lover and a prior ferret owner, so I know for a FACT that statement is false. Not to mention, Lily had never climbed a tree in her whole life, and she wasn't the kind of cat to run when she was afraid, she curled into a corner.
She was only three years old, and she was a member of my immediate family. He never even admitted what really happened to her, even though I begged him to tell the truth. You know how sometimes you can just tell when someone is lying through their teeth? I knew. Immediately I knew. This has truly broken my heart and sickened me to the point of no return. This man should NEVER be responsible for the care of another living being.
Aside from this being an act of an evident mental disorder, it is a FELONY OFFENSE. Randy Eshleman is an animal abuser and a criminal, and he is AT THIS MOMENT being trusted with the care of animals he is abusing. As such, I will do, and am doing, anything and everything I can to make this publicly known.
On top of all of the aforementioned horror my loved ones and I have experienced, he was totally unprofessional throughout the entirety of the journey. No updates, no locations, no time frames, and all he ever said about the cats was that they were "good".
Please help me make this known. The ONLY thing I can be thankful for in regards to this experience is that I will make sure people are aware of how crooked Randy Eshleman and U-ship are, and I will try to prevent this from happening to other people and animals.

First thing I want to say is that the lady knew what her cats were being transported in. I showed her and her boyfriend/husband exactly what I was driving. Second she lied about the size of her cage. When I got there I expained that I wouldn't be able to transport her cats up front with me since the cage was too big. At that point she could have said "no thanks." But she didn't so I transported the cats the best that I could. Second I want to say that during the trip I gave her updates as to where I was every time that she called. She seemed to not understand that there are areas in the country that get no reception. Third, When I finally arrive at her moms house and deliver the cats her mom was not happy at all. The driveway had about a foot of snow in it and it was a total hassle getting the cats to the front door. I ring and ring the doorbell and knock a lot and then her mom tells me to take the cats to the back entrance. So I do and she takes the cats into her home. It is then that I go to my truck to get the paperwork. When I get back to the back door her mom says that a cat is missing! This happened after she took possession of the cats in her home.I have no proof but I think they were trying to get a transport for free. I have literally transported thousands of animals across this country and this was the worse customer I ever came across. Last point. At the time I was transporting dogs from a shelter. These are dogs that were neglected and would have been killed otherwise! Of course they were not skinny because of me. It was the years of neglect from their previous owners! Please use your head! In conclusion this customer was just trying to get something done for free.
