Rapid Rent Ready, LLC William Brower / Billy Brower Took my money and never finished the work St Petersburg Florida
I found William Brower on the Thumbtack website as I was looking for yard cleanup, demo of a garage and some small home improvements. He and I agreed upon a price and the work that was to be done. William continued to ask me for draw after draw until I finally told him I would not pay him any more until more of the work had been completed. He then abandoned the job and contacted me with a sob story of needing a place to live. He had not yet finished the original work we contracted for so we agreed that he would rent the house from me for a reduced rate, while he completed the work on the home. At this point I had already paid him $3300 and he hadn't finished even half the work we agreed upon. He was habitually late on the rent, coming up with excuse after excuse, and finally he didn't pay any rent at all for over 2 months. We had no choice but to evict him at this point. Once he vacated the premesis (court ordered), we saw that none of the original work was done except the installation of a water heater. All additional work that was outlined in the lease was not done either. So basically, he did nothing while there except to take advantage of us and then leave the home and yard a mess. William Brower has proven himself to me to be dishonest and manipulating. He will promise you the moon, take your money, and leave you high and dry without doing the work. I would caution anyone who is considering having this person do any kind of job for them, to run, not walk, in the other direction. He will rip you off if given the opportunity!!
