Purchased a house nine months ago. House three years old at time of purchase. Over 50,000 dollars worth of repairs needed for non-disclosed problems. Listing agent, realtor & previous owners lied about who manufactured house & to this day still won't provide in writing building information specifics. This is preventing me from inforcing wauranty!

I am updated this report so anyone reading will better understand what I am saying. It is my opinion Realty Executives lied to me so a sale could be made but I have no proof other than damages currently to my home which appear to have existed prior to purchase. I hired a private inspector strongly recommended to me by Realty Executives to inspect this house & he gave it a clean bill of health. Because of report by this private inspector I made an offer to purchase & would not have done so if report mentioned problems which exist today. Problems are: *many basement walls leak *master bathroom shower tile & grout leak badly into basement *poor grade/landscaping/excavation which has water coming towards house & appears to be unfixable (house built in a pit & not high enough) *some work performed on house & no permits were pulled *low insulation in attic *poor bedrock, etc.. Obviously opinions will vary on some of this but anyone who spends a little time at this house & looks at what I'm talking about with all the rain we're getting will totally understand & agree we paid way too much & a lot was not disclosed when it's suppose to be (esp considering current housing crisis in U.S.). Realty Executives was very kind & helpful before they got my money but afterward when all these problems were discovered I got absolutely no help from them but hopefully that will change. I would like to point out the listing agent also works for Realty Executives. I have asked numerous times for literature on who did what in house & have not been provided anything to this day. I feel I am entitled to at least know which construction companies & contractors did what to this house by listing agent or previous owners & they have not provided this in writing & did not leave it in house or at closing! Based on how realtor, private inspector, listing agent & previous owner have behaved since problems with house were discovered it is my opinion I was lied to in effort to turn a sale in a very difficult housing market but I cannot prove that. I think Millie Fournais with Realty Executives is a very kind woman when I spoke with her & very professional. It is possible she was also lied to by previous owners but given fact she recommend private inspector to me who strangely never mentioned above very obvious problems with this house prior to offer I tend to believe not but that is my opinion! There is also no question the amount of weather precipitation received since closing on this house has been record breaking but I still feel warranty work should be upheld & how can I do that if realtor, listing agent & previous owners suspiciously won't provide details in writing of who did what? There is also evidence to suggest basement & master bathroom shower leaked prior to closing. This evidence also appeared to be present at time of private inspection by Home Pro Inspection (private inspection company I hired)!
