Remotesuperstore BUYER BEWARE: Jack Adams of Remotesuperstore does not honor return policy Jackson New Jersey
It has now been 3 months since I originally bid on item # 260122460900. It was shipped in unsatisfactory condition and returned to REMOTESUPERSTORE (Tracking #1ZR046920373436909).
According to REMOTESUPERSTORE's return policy "We are always happy to exchange your item for any item of equal value!" and "WE WILL RESOLVE ANY PROBLEM IMMEDIATELY!" It was a used remote that did not function correctly upon receiving it. I have offered numerous times to pay the difference for a new remote.
REMOTESUPERSTORE told me they had shipped me a new one on Feb. 27, 2008 two days after they received the old one. After 2-1/2 weeks I sent an email notifying that I had not received it yet and they denied receiving the one that I had shipped back to them. After sending them the tracking number so that they could confirm, they again told me that they had shipped a new remote on Mar. 16. It's now been 4 weeks again and I haven't received the new remote.
I've left my personal phone number in several of my emails to them so that I could resolve this problem with them and have gotten no response. As it sits, I have invested $81.35 for the original remote and $9.47 to ship the defective one back to them.
I sent negative feedback on ebay for him and he sent negative feedback to me claiming that I had sent him my old remote. This is a blatant lie, I shipped him the same remote that he shipped me.
I've started a dispute with ebay, he started a mediation with sqauretrade (He's trying to get the negative feedback removed). I've now reported him to the Better Bussiness Bureau and through all these attempts, have still gotten only short responses and no resolution.
Just look at all his negative feedback and you'll see that he pulls this scam all the time, I'm not the only one.
