La Jolla  again and again does not deliver on their promises. They can not be trusted. Do not, "Do Not" go near the place or enter into any agreement, written or otherwise. It is now over a year ago and they still owe us $1,450, promised October10,2013 and today is October 28,2013.

Management seems to be nice but Alfredo Marcq is a thieve of all thieves and, management is tollerating it. This is leaving you empty handed. Do not buy a timeshare from them, do not stay at their timeshare, just stay away for you own good.

Thank you for your Rebuttlal. Yes, you were lucky.

Initially we contacted Bank of America, Fraud Department. We were waiting and waiting for them to file a Credit Card claim with Bankcomer. When we had our fill, they told us, oh well, even if Bankcomer were to receive the request to reverse the charges, they will come right back with a claim of their own. So, what is the use of even filing our claim. We dropped Bank of America. We worked for the company for over 25 years and retired in 1998. What company has it turned into. Not any different than JPMorgen with their mortgage fraud.

We attended a La Jolla timeshare presentation friday april 26 2013. Alfredo offered to buy all of our 4 timeshares and guaranteed we'd receive $122,000 within 30 days. That's more than we paid for them! Of course we had to buy a timeshare at his ugly little property. That, and promises of no maintenance fees, airfare with points, etc had us thinking WOW. It was all very convincing and believable but TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. That night, back at our hotel, we researched online and found lots of complaints. We called our credit card company and told them we had been scammed! They listed it as stolen/lost and did not forward payment to Lajolla! Whew!! Close call.
