New Port Richey,#2UPDATE EX-employee responds
Mon, February 13, 2012
As someone who did this sort of work previously, let me tell you that I have yet to see ANY TIMESHARE RESALE COMPANY actually sell or rent a timeshare! All kinds of lies are given just to get your money and all they do is post an ad on a website. The owner of Resorts Transfer is someone that if you ever saw them in person, you wouldn't give them a penny! Many people doing this work have some sort of addiction.
Until our government seriously cracks down on this industry, they will continue to rob people. Many companies promise prmotions, shows, etc. to get your money. They also promise an unrealistic price for the sale or rental. Bottom line is this...you are simply paying someone to do something that you can do far better yourself. Most of these companies do absolutely nothing beyond a website posting to fulfill the promise of selling or renting a timeshare.
Do not pay anyone a dime to sell or rent your timeshare. Do not believe they "already have someone waiting" for yours! Do not be lured into believing they will get the job done because most will not. Again, I say "most" because I can't speak for all of these companies. I can however speak to Resorts Transfer and tell you that if they actually sold or rented 5% of the properties they advertise, that would be a miracle. However, even if this were the case, would you really pay $500 or more to be that 1 in 20 ???
