From Katherine's tale of woe: "My reason for ordering take-out tonight is because im 23 weeks pregnant." ??? Not sure what one has to do with the other. Are you incapacitated by your pregnancy? Bedridden? "I gave him $40. the order was $31.52 I asked for all my change back he then said in a "snotty" manner I have nerve.." You can afford a $30+ meal, but you can't throw him a $1 or $2 tip? Classy. So you b***h him out, stiff him on the tip, and then you're surprised that he was "snotty?" What did you expect, a curtsy and a tip o' the cap? "I spent $31.52 for food and I didn't get to eat any of it:(" No microwave, huh? What did you end up having for supper? "I diserve a full, if not more.. " No, you doh't. Maybe an apology, maybe a couple bucks knocked off the next time you use their service. Do you expect the restaurant to refund the price of the meal? Why? Look, I can understand your frustration. Late delivery is an annoyance, and we've probably all experienced it. But it's the nature of the beast, especially when the delivery service is separate from the restaurant itself. There are any number of things that can go wrong... heavy traffic, difficulty finding an address, etc. etc. If you can't accept this, you have two options: go to the restaurant yourself, or cook at home. In the overall scheme of things, it's really not that big a deal.
