Rich Dad Education - Legacy Education Free seminar is hook to 3 day seminar, which is hook to expensive education program (45K +) - No actual learning for money paid. Cape Coral Florida
My huband and I attended a free Rich Dad workshop as it seemed a good use of our time and to learn something new. During the workshop a 3 day seminar was offered ($299) to learn more about making money via Real Estate. The tips given during the first hour were very interesting so my husband and I decided to purchase it. We could both attend for the price of one. New tips were given for stock investing. These tips again were really good so we decided to also sign up for the 3 day seminar on stock investment ($150 discounted price). We felt these two educational programs could helps us learn new ways of making money via different avenues of income.
Our mistake was that we didn't research Rich Dad Education BEFORE attending the free workshop. The reason was that we trusted the Rich Dad brand. Some years ago, we had read Robert Kiyosaki's book Rich Dad Poor Dad and really respected him for what he had accomplished. It never crossed our minds that they were using tactics to promise people financial education and then not deliver on their promise.
The day finally came and my husband and I attended the first 3 day Real Estate sminar. The first dissappointment came when the speaker (Travor) started. His style was very rude and with much ego. At first we didn't understand why. Soon after the first break we understood. His speech gradually became more aggressive. He mentioned that we wouldn't learn much in 3 days and that we needed the financial education programs offered via Rich Dad Education (or Legacy Education). He focused heavily on the amount of $45K towards the rest of the speech. I believe he did this to prepare the crowd to sign up for the educational packages that averaged that amount. This was when we realized we had made a big mistake and that we were scammed. We were not getting any aducation from the $299 we paid, instead we would be presured, insulted and intimidated to purchase the expensive education programs.
My husband and I decided to stay for that one day to see how far this went. Things got worse. We went back home and started our research. We confirmed that for the first time ever we were actually victims of a huge scam. The lack of knowledge of a brand we trully trusted led us to fall victims of this scam. Our hope is that Robert Kiyosaki and his companies are stopped and put out of business. We didn't loose much, but too many people who actually signed up for the expensive education packages have been really affected for life. All we can do is put the word out and warn authorities that this is happening.

The ONLY real "seminars" conducted are by valid educational institutions. This is nothing more than a pitch...a sales pitch to get you to buy more and more and more as you have experienced. Always be very wary of these schemes which call themselves "seminars". As you have seen, they certainly aren't!
