I am another victim of the Robert Kiyosaki-Rich Dad scam.

I made the mistake of reading 2 books from Robert Kiyosaki and believing him.

I attended a free seminar held by the sleek Mr. David Shamy, who convinced me to attend a $495, 3 days class on real estate. In that seminar the name and pictures of Robert Kiyosaki were displayed over and over, because otherwise I do not see how so many people fall for the scam. The illusion that this Mr. Kiyosaki really wants to help you is too strong for people who struggle to make a living and get out of credit card debt. I bought into the class and I still feel the pain. The 3 days class held at the Marriott Hotel at 200 Interstate North, Atlanta, was a joke. I actually could stand the childish and unprofessional tone of the class only for the first morning. Just being there and listening to this speaker was embarrassing. After lunch I did not go back, but called the Rich Dad headquarter to ask for a refund. Reading through all the Ripoff Reports I know that I will not get it, but by writing this report I hope to help others not to believe in these crooks. During the first morning class I realized quickly that it was a sale pitch. They wanted to sell more expenses classes, and the "teacher" prompted us to call our credit card company and raise our spending limit. This was borderline criminal considering that the people I talked to had already heavy loads on their cards.

I hope that somebody will start a class action suite against Kiyosaki, because he belongs to a jail. I read that he is not the owner of the Rich Dad Education company any more (I am not sure). True or not, I was captured in the scheme by reading his books and his website on the internet. There was his picture with his wife, both smiling and inviting you to take this opportunity at improve your financial knowledge. Whateverr crook now owns the company, Kiyosaki is the real responsible for the scam. Shame on him.
