Richard Brent Creations Richard Johnson Cabinet Makers Finished Carpenters Beware Does Not Pay Employees Costa Mesa, California
Beware of this cabinet shop! For several years Rick Johnson, of Richard Brent Creations, has been hiring employees on a contract basis, even if they are not licensed subcontractors, thus avoiding paying taxes and worker's compensation insurance. After a few weeks he starts getting behind on payroll. This begins the sad stories of general contractors that are not paying him. This gets some foolish, kind hearted folks, to hang in there to help get him paid, so we can get paid. But.... the pay never comes. Then past employees start coming by, looking for him, warning you that he owes them Thousands of dollars. Now you are the one going by the shop, looking for this common thief, and warning the current employees. We have learned he has been doing this for many years. Stealing food off of his employees tables. Do not get fooled!
