Richard/ Crystal Stewart Foster Parents : Sedalia, Mo I have a problem with these 2 people as Foster Parents but not because of my child who is 20 & a MARINE - but for other parents Sedalia Missouri
I knew these 2 above mentioned in school,her in church all of my life & him from Jr Hi They both were accessive & a lot of the time violent tempered,rude & mean.
A girl who is now deceased came to me crying one day saying that Richard & her cousin had doused her the previous weekend with Ronson lighter fluid & tried to torch her!
She had a history of problems & Richard aggrivated her to the point of her being self distructive & emotional!
Crystal basically sat by watching showing no concern of the misbehavior of her boyfriend Richard! I think she viewed anything he did as FINE & there was NO WRONG he could commit in her eyes!
I am wondering WHY such people would be allowed to become something as sensitive in nature as FOSTER PARENTS.
I do understand that sometimes the State is NEEDY in the way to not be to careful or cautious (or county - whichever level they are hired at)
But that does not excuse the fact that both of the 2 are highly prone to acting out evilly & with HATE & anger & abuse !
Richard suppossedly started going to church.Maybe he was "prompted" to by someone as GOOD as his mother-in-law.
I just know that in the 70's
The demonstrations,fights,deliberate attacks on the characters & good naturedness of "quiet",shy,self absorbed "fringe" people was viewed by me as EVIL & highly inappropriate & definatly not one I would put off on possibly abused or neglected kids such as FOSTER KIDS !
I definatly do not know what goes through the MINDS of people who would ALLOW THAT or the people such as Richard & Crystal or the GANG they were in.
That's not saying that people don't CHANGE because they do sometimes surprise us.
It's saying there should be an awareness on broader terms when deciding who is & who is not of a criminal mentality as I feel they are.
