Riverdown is among one of my favorite performers at this establishment. Jimmie, lead singer, requested that I join him on stage, as he traditionally does as part of his performance. Prior to his request to have me join him, there were in excess of at least seven (7) other patrons who joined Jimmie on stage and of whom were “not” asked to exit the platform. Richie North Medeiros rudely and without provocation commanded me to "step down" despite lead singer, Jimmies’ invitation to have me join him on stage to sing a few lines of a favorite song. This disrespect was witnessed by a large crowd, including my 21 year-old daughter who did not need to see her mother abused. I would anticipate that Richie North Medeiros would be a liability to any establishment that he works in or at since he has no capacity to control is ego and puts his own interests first without hesitation to cause embarrassment to paying customers (particularly loyal, regular patrons) without justification. Prior to him "commanding" me to step down, which I did without hesitation, he happily allowed five (5) women to join Jimmie, on stage, of whom were intoxicated (as indicated by Jimmie himself), certainly posing a valid safety risk and justifying the bouncers responsibilities within the scope of their job by asking the girls to step down. Yet he did not and instead willingly and with reckless disregard placed many at risk of unsafe conditions. Furthermore, there was absolutely no physical altercation and/or threat of same and Richies’ rude handling of Jimmie’s invitation of me to join him on stage was self-serving due to his incapacity to handle a harmless comment (in a joking manner) that his facial expression gave the impression that one would witness as a secret service agent protecting a President. Taking his ego one step further, Richie "banned" me from returning to Johnnie Browns despite Jimmies’ innocent and directed request for me in a song (which is standard protocol in his entertainment style). A more appropriate handling would be for Richie to ask Jimmie to refrain from stage participation of “all” patrons. Richie unnecessarily embarrassed me among my friends and other patrons with his over-zealous reaction. I am not a stranger to a Bouncers rightful entitlement to keep the peace and ensure the safety of all and logically understand this cause. However, an egocentric bouncer has no place in an establishment that promotes fun for its patrons to inappropriately abuse his privilege role by applying this rule selectively vs. uniformly. Further, I have never been inappropriate to anyone or any employee of Johnnie Brown's. Instead I consistently bring my friends to Johnnie Browns as I find it to be an excellent source of entertainment for any local patron or visitor

I am a loyal and regular patron of Johnnie Brown's in Delray Beach.
