Right Size Smoothies Insight Beverages Total rip off and scam! Lake Zurich, Illinois
"I heard the ad on the radio for a "Free" 30 day trial supply of Right Sized Smoothies. So I called because I was interested in trying them and it was explained to me on the initial call that if I was not satisfied to simply call the customer service number that would be included with my shipment.
First off, I did not receive the shipment for over 30 days so it was already past the 30 day trial period. Secondly, there was no invoice or any documentation in the package when it arrive so I had no way of contacting the customer service department.
All off a sudden last week my credit card is charged $119.80. I assumed it was for my next months supply. So I called them to inquire where my order of shakes was and she proceeded to explain to me that because I did not cancel within allowed 30 day time frame I was being billed the $119.80 for the initial order.
Initially on the first call I made it was stated by the representative that all I only had to pay for the shipping and handling cost's of $18.80, and that was it. It was never explained to me that if I did not return then unused smoothies if I was not satisfied that I would be charged the full amount. I was very satisfied so I had no intention of returning the smoothies and wanted to continue to order.
Wait it gets even better. When I said that I would simply dispute the charges with my bank, Stephanie #4520 (the customer service rep) stated that when the bank called to inquire about the charges they would play back my initial recorded phone call in which I agreed to this arrangement. I then requested to listen to this so called recorded call and she said that it was not an option because they do not store the calls for longer than 30 days. So I caught her in yet another lie!"
DO NOT order Right Size Smoothies!
